Melcura HoneyGel for Severe Wounds [20000mg Honey] 50g

Melcura is a Honey-based wound gel well known amongst Surgical disciplines for its ability to heal Severe, persistent Wounds. It is a Pharmaceutical Product derived from Nature and used in Hospitals. Not to be mistaken as a Natural Remedy like Propolis - this gel will heal Skin.

Ingredients:

Pharmaceutical-Grade Honey (400mg per 1g Gel), Vitamin E, Vitamin C

HoneyGel is hydroactive and bacteriostatic (moistens the wound and stops bacterial growth)

Upon application of the wound gel to the wound bed, fluid is extracted from the surrounding tissues into the product due to the osmotic effect created by the honey content. A moist wound healing environment is created which stimulates the wound healing process.

HoneyGel helps lower wound pH providing a bacteriostatic and optimal wound healing environment. Due to the osmotic activity and low pH, HoneyGel prevents microbial proliferation, assists in removal of devitalised tissue, and helps to reduce malodour and foul smells. Oedema that causes pain is reduced and the wound is simultaneously cleaned which results in optimal wound healing. The gel may contain sugar crystals, which will not affect the effectiveness and/or application of the gel. Due to the use of natural products each batch of gel may vary slightly in colour (White - yellow - brown).
